As you begin drafting, it will be important to review the particulars of MLA citation (it's so, so much better to get it right from the start than to go back and fix it all, trust me).
Click here to get to the main page for A Writer’s Reference by Diana Hacker. Click on the link to “Research exercises” and then click “Cancel” to proceed without entering your personal information. You should complete the following three exercises:
- MLA 2-6: Recognizing common knowledge in MLA papers (under the "Researching (general)" tab)
- MLA 3-3: Integrating sources in MLA papers (under the "MLA" tab)
- MLA 4-1: MLA documentation: in-text citations (under the "MLA" tab)
Reminder instructions for instant tree karma follow:
In Internet Explorer, when you are ready to print … select “Print” from the “File” menu to pull up the print options. Choose the tab marked “Finishing.” Look for the option that says “Pages per Sheet and Posters” and select “Two Pages per Sheet.” Miracle of miracles, you’ll use half the paper! If you feel like living on the edge and want to go for four pages per sheet, I’m down.
